For Georgia, inspiration reveals itself as an inner adventure, a sensory and emotional journey through which she pays homage to the nature of Baie-Saint-Paul, without ever letting herself be constrained by the limits of the reality that surrounds her. Her aim is not to freeze the world, but to capture its shifting essence. Nothing stabilizes, everything comes alive, transforms itself: forms are born, dissolve, recompose themselves in the course of a free gesture. Bolder, sometimes more daring colors emerge, reflecting an increasingly assertive freedom of composition.

Each work becomes the reflection of a sensibility in perpetual motion. She owes her artistic journey as much to her attentive observation of the natural world around her as to the human encounters that have marked her path. These exchanges, these presences, these shared moments nourish her imagination and enrich the very matter of her creation.

From the very first glance of Baie Saint-Paul, it’s this invisible but deeply embodied signature that stands out: a free stroke, a vibrant palette, a breath of fantasy and poetry that runs through each canvas. She leaves an unmistakable imprint, like a familiar voice that speaks intimately to the viewer. In this way, each work becomes an invitation to escape, to feel, to dream without seeking to understand, simply to let oneself be carried away.

The artist

Settled in Quebec since 1997, she was born in Brittany into a family where art held a central place, and grew up alongside a father who was a multidisciplinary artist. From an early age, she drew and painted in a creative and stimulating environment. Her closest friends attended the Beaux-Arts, further strengthening her natural link with the art world.

Following a major upheaval – an illness in 2009 – she decided to devote herself entirely to her artistic practice. This intimate turning point marks the beginning of a total commitment to her art, where each work bears the trace of this singular journey, which becomes a joyful, positive impetus.
