Charlevoix is a region that calls for relaxation and well-being. What could be better than a visit to a lavender field to fulfill this desire for calm? Since 2014, Azulée has been producing organic lavender on a small farm located in Baie-Saint-Paul. A member of the Flavour Trail, the company is nestled at the foot of the mountain surrounding the town, offering a splendid view of the St. Lawrence River.
Recently, the farm has acquired its own distiller to offer its famous organic lavender hydrosol to its summer clientele. Not only does Azulée produce lavender, but its old-fashioned drying shed allows it to meet its needs for various plants: lemon balm, rose petals, chamomile, and other medicinal plants are cultivated there.
During your visit, you can explore the lavender field and various installations with self-guided tours, free for children. If you wish to enjoy the delicate flavor of lavender, a farm kiosk offers different products cooked on-site the same day: double chocolate lavender brownie, lavender-lemon cake, lavender and lemon shortbread cookies, chocolate-lavender truffles, and more. Everything to delight your taste buds!
Open from late May to mid-October, it is a must-visit stop in Baie-Saint-Paul for those seeking tranquility and beautiful discoveries.
